Policy cancellation

You can cancel one or more insurance policies directly from the Policies section in your dashboard. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Select the Policy or Policies

  1. Navigate to the Policies section.

  2. Use filters to narrow down your results (e.g., by status, type, or policy number).

  3. Select the checkbox next to each policy you wish to cancel.

ℹ️ Once at least one policy is selected, the “Cancel selected” button will appear above the list.

Step 2: Start the Cancellation Process

Click on Cancel selected to begin the process.

You’ll be prompted to:

  • Choose a cancellation date (default is the current date/time).

  • Select a reason for cancellation from the dropdown:

    • Not using the vehicle

    • Sold the vehicle

    • Other reason (open text option for flexibility)

💡 Tip: Providing a reason helps us improve our services.

Step 3: Confirm Cancellation

A confirmation message will ask:

“Are you sure you want to submit your request to cancel the selected policies?”

  • Click Yes, cancel to proceed.

  • Click Cancel to go back.

🕒 What Happens Next?

  • The policy’s status will not change immediately.

  • A small icon will appear next to the policy in the list, indicating:

    “This policy has a pending change request.”

This means the cancellation has been submitted and is being processed.
